What is the AABA Mission ?

 AABAFounder-
Commisioner  Don "Moose" Lewis

The All American Basketball Alliance, known as "the AABA", is pleased to announce the start of their regular season beginning June 12, 2010. Markets in the Southern and Midwestern regions are targeted for teams. Inquiries for teams have been received from several cities including Atlanta, Georgia; Augusta, Georgia; Auburn, Alabama; Birmingham, Alabama; Johnson City, Tennessee; Jackson, Mississippi; Hickory, North Carolina; Raleigh, North Carolina;, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Jacksonville, Florida; Fayetteville, Arkansas; Indianapolis, Indiana; Springfield, Illinois; and Ames, Iowa.  "Owners" of a team pays a yearly license fee of USD$10,000 for their market area.

The AABAwill feature only U.S.A. born Caucasian players, assuring family-safe entertainment. All games will be played on regulation goals,
because white men CAN jump!

An early spring exhibition tour of players is planned that will showcase the players in the upcoming season. The tour will give fans the opportunity to see first hand the AABA brand of basketball as well as develop interest for local team management and ownership. All games will be taped for television for showing at a later date as well as material for an upcoming documentary.

The All-American Basketball Alliance, formed as a "branded" professional basketball league designed to be "fan friendly" and "fan affordable", will be a showcase for players that are not only rookies but also seasoned professionals. Only players that are natural born United States citizens with both parents of Caucasian race are eligible to play in the league. The AABA has the option of having player contracts "transferred" to another team such as the NBA or overseas professional leagues. There will be a 30-game schedule along with one 1 round of playoffs. Players will wear uniforms with "above the knees" shorts and no tee-shirts under jerseys.

AABA teams will vie for the coveted
Adolph Rupp Championship Trophy
(isn't this what many think we are about)?

A minimum of fifty percent (50%) of each team will be made up of "territorial" players eighteen (18) years and older from local schools and colleges with the balance being free agents. Local tryouts will be held shortly in each AABL team city. Team Licensees (Owners) pay only a league licensing fee instead of the customary large franchise/membership fees other leagues demand due to the AABA  being organized as a single entity. For more information on team licenses, player tryouts, coaching opportunities, and other positions, please contact the corporate office.

"We will not be able to play in public facilities due to the type of players we seek since the politicians in our targeted cites are stumbling over themselves to maintain political correctness." stated AABA Commissioner Moose Lewis. "The markets we seek have a predominant Caucasian population. We are not racist, we just prefer to have solid family entertainment without the baggage that comes with players constantly grabbing their crotches and getting arrested for drugs and assaults. We offer an alternative brand of basketball that produces role models as well as a game fundamentally sound."r>
